Best way to clean an iPhone charger port
There are various methods suggested for cleaning the charging port of an iPhone, but I've found a better one: using a "GUM soft pick" marketed as a substitute for dental floss.
It is softer than a toothpick but firm enough to clean the port. It won't break. It has many projections on the side that are perfect for catching the accumulated dust so it can be removed.
Apple recommends not to use compressed air. Many people use toothpicks, but the GUM soft pick seems ideal for cleaning the port.
