I have an iPhone 11, iOS 17.5.1.
I sent a text message yesterday using the phrase "quick look" and it automatically was changed to "Quick Look" - why??
How do I stop this from happening?

I don't disagree with any of that -- was just trying to answer the 2 questions that you asked.
If you turn off auto-correct it will turn it all off.
The only suggestion I can offer is that when I type quick look the suggestions bellow the message display "quick look" (in quotes as shown) and if you tap that it won't capitalize. That assumes that you (unlike me) notice it in time. I end up backspacing and typing it in lower case again, at which point it accepts it. Sorry, I don't know of another way to "trick" it.

And if I turn off autocorrect, won't thatl mean no autocorrection AT ALL for any word or phrase?? I don't want that!
How many times does anyone refer to this feature? Not very often I'm guessing.
it's VERY irritating to try and type a phrase that is autocorrecting to initial caps and not being able to get it to accept lower case.
