D.I Electric Guitar through Audio Interface ouputing Static/Crackling through Logic

Hello!

I've plugged in an electric guitar into my audio interface but the playback and input are returning crackling and static in the playback. I've used this set up before with a different guitar in the past but this is the first time I encounter this issue. The gain on the interface is in the green, even when strumming hard. The guitar sounds normal through the interface by itself while using "Direct Monitor" option.

The same guitar and interface are working normally with a stand-alone guitar amp sim and a different DAW.

I've noticed that while using Logic, level meter barely receives any signal from this setup and is sometimes delayed.

Any help will be much appreciated. Let me know if more info is needed.
