So my Mac has an issue that my firmware password has permanently locked my Mac and I don’t know what it is while it’s enabled so when I go to the Apple Store to fix it how much would they charge you as of now in 2024 usually always?

And valid ID as well. I would recommend contacting the store or AASP prior to making the trip to confirm what paperwork is needed which they will find acceptable.
