Why is my Apple Music not working on Wi-Fi?

Same issue here. Often experience problems with Apple Music skipping tunes etc.

No network issue my end and works fine on eg. Spotify when Apple Music doesn’t.

would great with a fix because these problems just renders the service useless!

Same here. Some track will play if I put a playlist on shuffle, but I can't select a song myself and play it. And then, if on a station or even on playlists, more tracks will be skipped then not. But, using apple music on my laptop on the same network works just fine. started on my ipad air 4th gen 5 days before my iphone 12 mini.

Whats the fix, Apple?

I’ve had the exact same problem for the last month or more here in Denmark. Really frustrating actually.

Same problem here. Can’t play Apple Music on WiFi and getting error message “ Network connection lost”

skipping true alle tracks in playlist. Works fine on 5g and my son’s WiFi .

I can’t fix it and guess my solution now will become cancelling my subscription

Have exactly the same problem…. Get the popup “ WiFi connection lost”

If I turn off WiFi , and use my 5G mobile connection, it works !!!!

Router restarted, wifi reset on phone, but still same problems.

Works fine on 5G and with a VPN solution. Spotify works fine, no problem with this app, the same for downloaded music. Very annoying, thinking about moving to Spotify instead.

Me too. It’s been like this for a week now and I can’t use the Sonos system or anything. Very frustrating

So here in Denmark it seems to be a problem with a security product that one of the network suppliers use. This eledgedly blocks the ports that allow to pass through the music stream. There is a whole topic on it in the flatpanels Forum. YouSee is working on it but doesn't have a solution or a time frame. In the meantime I have been forced to opt out and cancel my apple Music family subscription as it does't let me stream music on wifi. I have many friends and other family members that have also cancelled their subscriptions for the same reason.

My music will continue to play but the moment I go to search a new song it will tell me I do not have a network connection. All other internet apps work but Apple Music. I have noticed this as a problem anytime I have my devices plugged into any kind of external speaker.

Just this morning factory reset my YouSee router hoping a firmware update might restore access to Apple Music over WIFI - it worked and still an hour later!

You need to reset your network.

Go on settings, then general.

scroll down till the last voice “transfer or reset iphone.

then press on reset and in the last popup you press on reset network.

worked for me and hope will be helpfull for you

Just started happening a couple of months back. If I switch to 5G it works, but it’s super annoying.

Tried to reboot iPhone, reboot network, reinstalling Music app - problem stays the same.

SO unlike Apple - get it fixed!

I do have the same problem at my office since about 3 weeks. Almost glad that I'm not alone...

I would love to remain with Apple Music but if this issue is not taking care off by Monsieur Cook

I have done exactly the same things, the engineer got back to me today after two days but still didn't manage to fix the issue, he said that he's going to call me again in two days...I will keep you updated

Same issue. Very frustrating. Comcast internet and TP Link Deco WiFi hardware.
