Service Box Arrived Empty

Hi! I sent back my iPhone with the prepaid package they sent me but I received and email that the box arrived empty. Am I liable even though I placed my device in the box but it’s gone when the delivery company (FedEx) had it?

iPhone 14 was not delivered I ordered iPhone14 Pro with preorder 1month ago. When I checked few times, the package was not delivered staying hotel. But UPS just told me they don't have responsibility after taking hotel. hotel staff hasn't taken the package. So I still haven't received the item, I'am so embrrassed. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
