AirPods Pro 2 sound worse on iPad than on iPhone

Hey.

I have had AirPods Pro 2 for a while now, and they're amazing. I've always used them on my iPhone 13, with no problems whatsoever. But when using them to my iPad 6 (which I hadn't used in a while) they sounded completely diferent. Almost muffled. All of the quality and crispness of the AirPods was completely gone when listening to any media on my iPad. I don't understand why, special audio is enabled in both devices. I also have the latest iOS and iPadOS on both devices.

What could be the issue? Is it due to different codecs? Different bluetooth versions?

Since you've confirmed that both devices are up to date and Spatial Audio is enabled, try checking the Equalizer settings on your iPad. Sometimes, EQ settings are set differently across devices, which can significantly alter sound quality. Go to Settings > Music > EQ on your iPad and ensure it's set similarly to your iPhone or adjust it to your preference. Also, disconnect and reconnect your AirPods to ensure they're paired properly. If the issue persists, reset your AirPods and reconnect them to both devices.
