What year macbook should I buy for DJing and music production

So, I'm looking at refurbished MBPs for DJing and, in the future, I wanna produce music (don't know what kind yet if that matters... probably EDM, R&B/hip hop). I found a MacBook Pro (2020) - Apple M1 - 16GB RAM - 2000GB SSD for about ~$1200 with 2 year warranty.

Anyways, I read that the Maximum OS supported is macOS Monterey and it's making me hesitant. Should I be concerned about not being able to download the software/plug-ins/etc I need for Djing/music production or is that irrelevant? Will it be too vulnerable to security threats or anything like that in a few years? Is my hesitancy valid? Or should I just go for it?

I would appreciate any advice/tips/knowledge. Thanks in advance :)
