Battery Acid Leaking From Phone?

Hi! My phone (iPhone 15) wasn't anywhere near water, but when I tried charging it I got a notification that there was liquid detected in the charging port. After about 45 minutes I was able to charge it, but after plugging it in I noticed a clear liquid and a sweetish smell coming from the charging port. Could this be a battery leak / is it anything to worry about?

Iphone charging problem This morning I got a warning that there’s liquid in the charging port and I left the phone under charge for about 9 hours, It didn’t charge because the software prevented it from doing so, but now when I plug in the charger it starts charging after some time, I can plug it in for 10 seconds it won’t do anything and then starts charging normally. I dried the port, I don’t know if I should leave it dry itself for a day or else. The phone wasn’t submerged in water it was only under 2 pieced of clothing which I got a bit wet I wasn’t showering nor running thru rain so I don’t know. This phone is 1 month old and I haven’t had any problem with an android phone which I had many android phones before.. EDIT: now it starts charging instantlly, sometimed after some time..

Liquid detected Hello I would kindly appreciate some feedback, a week ago I tried charging my phone and saw liquid detected , I was in a new state for work business and needed my phone asap , to get back home , I proceeded with an emergency ‼️ Over rude ,after my phone refused to dry after 12 hiurs, it then charged to 30 since then my iPhone 13 Pro still doesn’t charge!! any suggestions ?

Power off the phone immediately.

Take the phone to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service shop to have the phone checked and tested.
