Darwin Kernel Version 23.5.0 on MacBook Air 2018-Causing restart after top is closed then open

I used Etre Check Pro and ran it on my Air. The culprit is the Kernel attack and looks like it might be old versions of Microsoft Office,Excel, that might be conflicting with the operating system. Pointed out Darwin Kernel Version 23.5.0---I want to get a new MacBookAir but I think I have to straighten out this old MacBook Air before transferring file to the new Air. Trying to figure it out how to clean up this Air to transfer info to new Air so I don't have the same issues with the new Air. I called Apple Support, Sr. Advisor and I was told to use the process of elimination by deleting certain programs on the system. Putting them in the trash and doing a restart and see if the issue still there. Or installing and reinstalling a new version. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. The issue is also causing High CPU usage. Requiring two to three restarts.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.5
