Is there a way to make the "Ruler" in the markup tools darker?

I am visually impared and the ruler in markup is too light for me to see. Is there a way to make the tint of the ruler darker or a different color so I can find and use it to draw straight lines? If there is a different way to make straight lines. Please let me know.

It may be worthwhile to directly contact Apple Support - and ask to speak with an Accessibility Specialist. Apple have a team dedicated to offering support for accessibility issues. They will be able to offer help and support with suggestions and specific settings for users with difficulties with vision or other disabilities.
