“Turn On This Line” option missing

i have noticed weird behaviours on my iPhone 13 Pro’s Mobile Service interface.

a bit of context- I am currently having one active physical sim and one active eSIM configured in my phone. I travel between two countries often so I use them interchangeably. For instances, when I travel to a country, I will switch my default voice line and mobile data to the local line, and then toggle off “Turn On This Line” on the overseas line.

however, ever since I upgraded to iPhone 13, I noticed that the “Turn On This Line” option is sometimes missing. I didn’t encounter this issue when I was using iPhone XS.

I have reboot my phone and performed network reset, but the issue still remain.

I am on the latest iOS - 17.5.1. What went wrong here?

Found a fix.

if you happen to have more than two SIMs registered on your iPhone, try turning on a third line.

Because iPhone can only have two lines active at the same time, a pop up will appear asking which line you would like to turn off. I picked the one with missing “Turn On This Line”.

By doing so, I forced the unwanted line off and made “Turn On This Line” appear again.

definitely an interface bug. Apple, please look into this.
