Error “There is a problem playing this video. If it continues, check your internet connection.”

I get this message all the time recently. “There is a problem playing this video. If it continues, check your internet connection.” My internet is fine. All my other streaming services and apps work fine. I have deleted Apple TV+ and reloaded it. I have unplugged my Firestick and re-detected it. Twice. I am about t give up and cancel. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It seems that you have already done some fine generic troubleshooting. At this time, please consider contacting the Apple Support staff for their knowledge base.


Please verify if your system software on Fire TV is up-to-date, as that may affect select apps.

Please verify that the connection with remote servers isn’t blocked by firewalls, unusual DNS servers, mismatched clocks, or other such settings.
