Cant sign into iMessages or FaceTime

One morning i got on my ipad and went to the iMessages app it told me to sign in so i did that, it started loading for a while until i got a message 'FaceTime Activation Unable to contact the FaceTime server. Try again.' It told me the same thing on the FaceTime app please can someone help me😭

Make sure that the date and time it’s in automatic mode and try to activate FaceTime again
