Getting Messages to Stay:

A. Sync through iCloud:

On both iPhones, enable Messages in iCloud.

On both Devoces:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
3. Tap: iCloud
4. Select: Show All... button
5. Tap: Messages (so that it is green)

Use a Mac:

Using a Mac?’c you can enable messages in iCloud Settings. Then see if it all syncs. If Messages am was set up on a computer, when they would be stored in it. If not, then ask your Carrier for assistance
