How to get 5g working in my iPhone 12 iOS 17.6?

Setting>Cellular>5G Auto

If you see SOS, No Service, or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Verizon should be able to re-provision your device remotely if Network setting reset does not resolve the issue.

Last night I switched to 5G and restarted my phone. Then I switched back to 5G Auto and restarted.

I did this a couple of times and ended up on 5G Auto and started to see the 5G Symbol instead of LTE.

My gut feeling is that the carriers (I’m Verizon) have not caught up to some new Apple settings in 17.6, but they will and it will be OK.
