I am putting a slide show together for a celebration of life.
I have gone through and manually rearranged 200+ photos in an album then created
a slideshow. Every theme plays the slideshow in the same randomized order.
How do I get the slideshow to display the photos in the order of how they appear in my album?

It sounds like you're using File>Play Slideshow. You don't get a lot of control with this.
Have you tried File>Create>Slideshow>Photos? With this choice you build a "project" that lets you put the pictures in any order you like, choose music, and timing.
