MPB 13" 2019 is overheating to 115 degrees frequently

My 2019 13" MBP (1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5) has been overheating the entire time I've owned it, it's gotten more frequent as of late. It often "crashes" as well. I've taken it to the local Apple Store (Genius Bar) for diagnosis and provided pictures using my husband's thermal heat gun, which shows the bottom of the laptop between 109-115 degrees. They have kept it and messed around and it was okay for a while after the service, but ultimately the issue returned within a short period of time. I only use Safari, but if any sites are running marketing videos the laptop overheats rapidly and the fan sounds like a jet engine. I have to quickly close programs and put the laptop on a cooling pad to bring the temp down. This is particularly noticeable if I turn on iCloud. I was having similar issues with my previous MBP anytime I attempted to use iCloud so I had to keep it shut off. I purchased this one as its replacement in late 2019 at the recommendation of an Apple employee. However, this one seems to have the exact same issues. I took it in again a couple months ago due to constant high temps and frequent crashes. The Apple Store techs kept it for 4 days then called and said they had to wipe the disk and restore it to factory settings (which is always fun). It has resumed its overheating temper tantrums just a short while later. The store tech told me Apple knows they have issues with the Intel chip in my MBP and suggested I buy a new MBP because they have their own chip in them now, which has supposedly resolved this issue. At $1,500 a pop minimum I can hardly justify the expense of replacing yet another MBP. If Apple knows they have an issue like this they should offer impacted customers half-off a like model replacement MBP with the trade-in of their dysfunctional Intel one. Don't keep charging customers 3x the cost of any similar PC laptop for a product that is inferior. Feeling pretty frustrated.
