Search only for movies provided by Apple
On Apple TV, when I search for a movie I sometimes only want the see results for movies provided by Apple. Is there a way to do this as I can’t find one?
For example let’s say you want to see a Hallmark movie, so you search ‘Hallmark’. You get a huge list of results. There’s no way of telling from this list which service provides each of the movies listed. Instead you have to click on each movie, probably only to find it’s on some provider you’re not subscribed to and don’t want to subscribe to as it’s yet another monthly fee you’d have to pay.
There’s many situations where we only want to see movies provided by Apple for several reasons:
- We only have to pay a few dollars to rent the movie rather than another subscription fee for a service we may never really use again.
- We can be assured we’re not going to get ads interrupting the movie with Apple.
- We know the image quality will be good with Apple.
I have the same issue with the TV app on iPhone; there doesn’t seem to be a way to limit search results to only content provided by Apple. But then maybe there’s a way to do this I am not aware of?
