Magic Keyboard Folio Pointer

Hello, I recently got an iPad 10th generation as well as a Magic Keyboard Folio to go along with it. The issue is that whenever I use the touchpad on the keyboard the little grey dot does not appear on screen so it is difficult to see where the pointer is on the screen. I have tried to go on settings and adjust the color and size of the pointer but after a few seconds it disappears. I have also tried to connect and disconnect the keyboard but it disappears again after a second. How can I fix this?

Remove the iPad from the Keyboard - and carefully/gently clean the smart connector contacts on both the iPad and keyboard with a soft pencil eraser (a drafting-film eraser is ideal). Ensure that the contacts on both iPad and keyboard are dirt and dust free - and all debris from the eraser have been removed - before reconnecting the two.

While connected to the folio keyboard, you should be able to access the Pointer settings:

Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Automatically Hide Pointer - set to OFF
