What should I do if my AirPods are linked to my friend's Apple ID?

I have airpod pros the 2nd gen, i’ve had them for a while and just got an iphone. my airpods were on my friends apple id and she removed it. i have no idea how to connect them to my apple id and when i am connected with bluetooth it doesn’t give me an option?
