Files App Folder Specific Search Found Files in a Different Foler

In the Files app I searched for “2.pdf”, specifically in the “Orig” folder.  You can see the result in the 1st screenshot.  All of these files are named with starting with the date n the format YYYYMMDD.  Notice that the first file has a date one day earlier than the rest of the files.  

In the 2nd screenshot I had selected all of the files and was attempting to move them to a different folder, “Playing”.  However the Move button is grayed out, so I couldn’t complete the move.

As it turned out, the reason that Move was grayed out is that the file “20240810_puz_sud 2.pdf” was actually NOT in the “Orig” folder; it was already in the “Playing”folder.  The 3rd screenshot shows that file’s Info results, with its folder’s name, “Playing”, highlighted.

I haven’t noticed any problems like that with the Files app before today. I did have a previous issue in Files that was only fixed by setting my iPad back to factory condition and reinstalling from backup back in March. However that was Files not responding, while this is it giving incorrect search results.
