AirPods Pro crackling sound issue

I'm using AirPods Pro 1st generation, and I've recently started hearing a crackling sound. However, the crackling doesn't occur when I wear just one earbud; it only happens when I wear both. When I take one out, the sound goes away again. What could be causing this issue, and how can I fix it?

Version 6A326 seemed to have broken my first gen AirPod Pros as well. I can listen to them without the transparency and noise cancelling without any static noise which is loud but then it renders them regular earbuds. I bought these because of the transparency mode.


This is the third time Apple’s firmware rendered my product void of features! I don’t like having to purchase products that were working fine but Apple has now become HP in terms of firmware destroying older models! I’m done with Apple!
