Is Parrot AI a scam?

Made the mistake of installing this $30+ app for a year sub, and it immediately stopped working. Their "customer service" is an endless loop, completely worthless. Apple won't allow me to request a refund for who knows why, so, next step contact my bank I guess. Anyone w/ similar experiences? Were you able to get a refund? Cheers!~

Confiscating players' in-game items for unreasonable reasons and reacting to the game company, but always getting inactive and standard responses.
