Loaner iPhone when sending in device for repair with AppleCare.

I see a link online to a form that makes it seem like a loaner is an option but when I submitted a request to send mine in, it doesn't mention that I will receive a loaner while it is being repaired. I tried calling but the Apple support staff didn't know. This is the Apple loan device page iPhone Loan Agreement

But I can't see how to ensure I get this.

Has anyone had a recent experience that can confirm either way if you receive a loaner while yours is being fixed?

iPhone Loan Agreement

Keep in mind that the Loaner iPhone is only available for repairs that will take multiple days for your own iPhone. In contrast, other repairs on your own iPhone that Apple can perform on the same day or while you’re at the store are not eligible for the Loaner iPhone.

You will have to contact your Apple Store for a loaner iPhone, and return it designated to that store. And it is at your Apple Store’s discretion to give you the Loaner iPhone or not.

From what others have said, you need to specifically request a loaner when you arrange your service. It's not automatic, and I don't think Apple Support will just offer. Under what circumstances Apple will or will not grant a loaner I don't know. Perhaps someone else can provide more details.
