Blue dots on photos from iPhone 15 Pro Max

That looks like lens flare. It is the result of having a light source falling directly on the camera lens. It will happen with any camera if a light source strikes the lens directly.

You should be able to see it on the screen before you take the photo, so try moving the phone slightly, or used your hand to block the light source from hitting the lens. Here is a longer explanation, with other examples→iPhone Camera Lens Flare and Reflections - Apple Community

That is not lens flare. Lens flare occurs when a bright light source is shining in the lens.

Some have mentioned this happens when a laser has damaged the sensor such as at a concert. But as IdrisSeabright has suggested, take it to the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.

I don't think that's lens flare. Especially as it doesn't appear you're aiming the camera at a light or reflective surface.

Are the dots always in the same place?
