Trying to upgrade from Catalina, it sticks on "finding upgrade"

I've tried upgrading to Ventura, then even Big Sur from Catalina. It won't move past the finding upgrade screen. I've tried restarting in SAFE MODE but it stalls at the end of the progress bar ( for 5 minutes and then I gave up and restarted normally, which was fine.)

Not sure what's wrong. Tried turning off anti virus software - still no change.

Help?

My first querry was going to be...

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?

You answered part of it.:)

We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...

Using EtreCheck - Apple Community

EtreCheck is a FREE simple little diagnostic tool to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. Give etrecheck Full Disk Access before running.
