Why doesn't Apple Intelligence work on my iPhone 15 Pro Max?

I have a iPhone 15 Pro and I updated to iOS 18.1. I cannot find ANY apple AI features at all. No revamped Siri, no photo smart eraser, no text summaries, nothing. This seems like 18.0 exactly to me. It said it successfully installed 18.1... but I get nothing. Help???

There is still 18.1 and 18.2 in the works that have not made it out of beta testing. Additional features will be added in each point release with no specific date provided.

They have always said it will be released this fall. The Apple commercials also state this very clearly. Many of the commercials from cellular providers show it in the fine print along with a bunch of other information, such as which plans you need and the terms to get the iPhone 16 for "free".

The only iPhone 15 model that is supported are the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max.

So why has Apple been advertising “feel the glow” and Apple Intelligence as well as talked about it so much yet here we are over a month after the release of the 16’s and it’s still not out yet?!

• What is the Model number at Settings > General > About > Model Number?
• Do you have the device set to US English?

Sorry, but we don't know if you have reviewed any of the information that has been provided. There are requirements that must be met and not sure if you meet those requirements.

I answered you in your own thread. Your phone was manufactured for China and until Apple Intelligence is approved for phones made for China, you won't be able to use Apple Intelligence. It has NOTHING to do with the cost of the phone.

Was this purchased from Apple or Authorized Apple Seller?

Turkey has some of the highest taxes on iPhones making them much more expensive than other parts of the world and some choose different channels to avoid the high cost.

China is much more restrictive on what they will import in their country and currently doesn't allow any iPhone manufactured for the region to include AI. Obviously you are not going to be able to simply change the region on the device to get the banned features for a device destined for China. There are no workarounds for the device, and if there were China residents would use a VPN and change the region.

To answer your other question: "DID WE PAY LESS MONEY". It sounds like you did.

The FULL Apple Intelligence will work on an iPhone 15 Pro/15 Pro Max. No, you won't have the new Camera Capture Button, but ALL of the camera features will be available.

You do NOT need to switch your region to the US. You DO need to change language and Siri language to US English.
