Unable to see customisation icons for control centre on iOS 18.

In the latest update ios 18 I can not see the customization icons that come in the side such as favorites, music etc.

iPad status bar icons are overlayed by app icons I don't know how to explain this any better than to say that the icons on the iPad screen for things like WiFi and date and such seem to be overlayed by icons apps, like Facebook, mail and other apps. This is causing usability issues. See pictures.

Add a custom group of controls

Open Control Center.
Tap. ...
Tap the bottommost icon (the little circle) along the right edge of the screen.
Tap Add a Control at the bottom of the screen to open the controls gallery.
Tap a control in the controls gallery to add it to the group.
