iOS 18 Disable Video Looping in Photos App?

That may well be the case but as I and many others have said, it just didn’t work for us! However, when the latest update to 2.1 came today the anti loop button magically appeared and we are now able to switch it off.

Hello again ~ I was able to download iOS on January 7 th. I have indeed read every single post into this thread. I was also able to turn off Video Looping a month ago. What I don’t understand is the confrontational approach…

Apple, a video created natively on the iPhone does not loop, so why would you have its playback be presented that way? Please disable video looping or configure the option to toggle on/off.

If you're struggling to inject/develop useful features into Photos, how about the ability to reduce a video down 75%, 50%, 25% or 10% so one can effectively share it?

You have to unsubscribe from the thread:

• Click the blue bell near the top of the page
• Redraw the page, using the button in your browser (It’s to the right of the URL in Safari, near the top left edge in Firefox; it looks like a partial circle with an arrow)
• If the button is blue again, repeat the process until the bell remains clear

You will need to do this once for every post you made in the thread. For example, if you made 3 posts, you will have to repeat this 3 times.

This is a forum bug that first appeared around 5 years ago, was fixed, and has recently returned.

Seriously?

1. Go to the top of the page just under the lower left of the original post. Look for "Sort by" and change it to "Oldest."
2. Read the posts from the last several days.

I agree. Would like to shut off auto looping.

Me too the same suggestion. It must be avoid.

I wish I never updated to IOS18 now! So many bugs! You can’t watch videos with sound anymore when your phone is on silent and now this stupid looping function!

Yep I agree, auto Visio looping is the most annoying thing so far

Also predictive text keeps altering word just as you post the comment. Making you appear to be an ignoramus idiot.

I’m referring to my previous post; video looping coming over as “ Visio looping”

I want to stop auto-looping for good.
