Hello guys - if I buy a Finance iPhone 16 Pro (eSIM) through T-Mobile on Apple.com, can it be used with any carrier later, for example: it will be sent to another country without previously unboxing it, so will be activated for the very first time in other country. Thanks.
PS I live in US and I'm traveling to my daughter's bday in Latin America and I want to bring her this gift....

The phone will be locked to T-Mobile for the duration of the agreement, which is typically 2 years.
You will not be able to connect the phone to another carrier until it is unlocked by T-Mobile. T-Mobile will not unlock the phone until the agreement has ended.
But, there are other important things that you might not be aware of. If you buy the phone in the U.S., the phone will have no warranty in Latin America. If service is required on the phone, it will have to be returned to the U.S. for service.
Your idea of a gift would work much better if you go with your daughter to purchase the phone in Latin America. That way, you know that the phone will work with the local carrier and the warranty will be good as well if service is required.

hey mate thanks, even purchasing directly from apple.com? keep in mind I am not purchasing from T-mobile. I will from Apple site. this is the only way that works for me, for my pocket, financing it ...
