iPhone 16 Pro Max shipment delayed

I ordered my iphone 16 pro max at 5AM PDT on september 13, initially it was supposed to arrive today, friday september 20. On "my orders", it still says that it´s friday september 20, but when I track it in UPS it says it will arrive on monday. Is there any way I can know for sure when it will arrive? Also, the package is currently 5 hours away from my location.

I preordered mine Sept 16, mine has an estimated delivery of 9-16 Oct. My order has just been sitting at processing for a week, it hasn’t even charged my bank account yet.

Preordered two 16 Pro Maxes when the site first went up. Both initially got a September 20th delivery date. One was indeed delivered today, but the second order keeps getting delyaed without any explanation from Apple or even an email update. They first delayed it a few days ago until September 30th, and today it got delayed yet again until October 21st! Again, no explanation or email from Apple. Terrible!

Well you are doing better than I am. I ordered mine Sept 14th and it is saying October 8-15th. I ordered the Black Titanium. Really surprised Apple did not have a better projection of what would be sold. Kind of bad business planning. I know they premade so many for Apple Stores and Carriers but they are leaving long time customers behind. I have been using Apple products since the iPhone 3G. Then they wonder why they are losing market share.

UPS continually fails update their shipping notifications or delivery windows properly. Apple should frankly stop using them.


Status went from "Preparing Your Shipment" to "Delivery Attempted" skipping the "On the Way". The driver themselves didn't even ring the doorbell and just slapped a note on the door and shifted delivery to Monday. I couldn't even catch them and I waited at home all day for the delivery. I think they are just handing out notes because they didn't finish prep on deliveries. Truly UPS has bad drivers, bad tech, and just plain bad deliveries.

Same thing happened to me as I received an updated message 2 hours ago from UPS stating “”Uncontrollable events have caused delay.” I called UPS to find out what delay is about and they claimed it’s due to the truck breaking down, which was a bald face lie since I just saw our usual UPS truck & driver in neighborhood a half hour ago. Instead of already having it like I should, now I have to wait, however, the customer service rep said that since it was supposed to be delivered overnight, they will “try” to deliver it tomorrow, but I doubt it as it says Monday in their update and that hasn’t changed since my call.
