iPhone 16 Pro Max shipment delayed

This is happening to me too. I ordered the iPhone 16 Pro Max. All looked good until It got to East Syracuse NY. UPS claimed “Your package is pending release from a non-UPS broker. Contact the non-UPS broker for additional information.” Which I understand is customs. (I live in Canada). I’ve been quoted a delivery for Sep 20th, now Sep 24th… interested to see what will happen and if I will receive my iPhone on Tuesday.

I think everyone has different days and time due to the delay of if you ordered on the pre order day. Mine days 9/20 whereas my brother is showing 10/2 :/ well my ups tracking is showing wed now but on Apple tracking showing fri so will have to see what is more accurate.

Wow, reading most of these posts and it's interesting that a similar thing happened with my order. I also pre-ordered my phone on 9/13 and it was due to arrive 9/20. I kept checking the tracking and nothing was updated. The last scan I saw online was that on 9/19 it was "on the way" in Orlando, FL. It updated to "estimated delivery" on Friday by 2:15. Then it said Saturday by noon. Now, looking at my tracking info online, the entry for Orlando is gone and is now pending delivery from Louisville, KY!?? I called Apple today because nothing has been updated. The agent said I needed to wait 3 business days before they can start a shipping investigation. So, I have to wait until 9/24 at the end of the day if I still haven't received it or call in the morning on 9/25 before they will proceed. How frustrating!

Yep, for me UPS has decided that they don't need to actually move the trailer from two states away still despite the original delivery date being the 20th and it now being the 23rd. I had to get in touch with the local center to get that info as everyone at their customer service line promised me it would be here today "because the tracking page says so"...

Apple hasn't been very helpful either with he only options being "we can cancel this order and you can go pick it up at a local store" which I would possibly be able to deal with... if they had the config that I ordered in stock; and the other option being "Well just wait, we cannot even file a shipping investigation until the 25th."

Seems like UPS really screwed this one up in a wide spread way despite having probably months of notice of estimates and then a couple weeks with exact numbers to plan for.

The fact that you can speak with someone at Apple, they’re able to cancel your order for a product you haven’t received, and they’re willing to do an investigation is actually a much better sign than what I thought they’d be doing when I have to call.

I ordered a white 16 pro max from AT&T and my delivery is pushed back to between Oct 18-25. They told me that I can get it sooner if I switch to another color, which I don’t want. So I still have another month to wait.

Same, I ordered my iPhone 16 Pro Max on the 13th but slept in an hour (oops), ended up ordering at 9:00am EST instead of 8:00am EST. Mine is supposed to arrive on 2nd-7th Oct, this year is such a minor update, why’s there so much demand? Crazy.

I’m with T-Mobile and was told the same thing so I cancelled. Right before I ordered a different color I was told I could go to a local store and get one that day. Got to the store and there wasn’t a single IPhone 16 pro max within a 100 mile radius. The switch back to android is heavy on my heart at the moment.

Still waiting on mine as well. Preordered it on 9/13 first thing. Was supposed to be delivered on 9/20. Time kept getting pushed back until 11pm when I got a message saying a Saturday delivery has been requested. It still says that now when I try to track it.

The trade-in boxes frequently come before the device. I got the trade in box for my recent MBP purchase about five days before the computer was available for pickup.

Apple dispatch seems to be a mess! I received incorrect/ fake DPD tracking number stating delivery Friday 27/09. Nothing on DPD app,spoke to Apple support,they haven't a clue who has it! They are committed it will be with me by 7 October!...Oh Joy😳

I preordered mine on the 14th with estimated delivery Sept 25th (passed) to 3rd Oct. It's just been sorting at processed for a week be 2 weeks come Saturday. They said it's a delay cause everyone ordered that phone.

Overall, i agree with your comment. I still believe that this is being done intentionally by apple! To show that there is huge demand. Other than that, i really can see how what is happening is possible!

In what way could this POSSIBLY benefit Apple? Apple doesn't charge for an iPhone until the phone ships. Your assertion makes literally no sense at all.

I got the same notification. My iPhone 16 pro was supposed to delivered Friday September 20, 2024 then got delayed and I received this message. And then on Monday, September 23. UPS notified me saying that the phone was finally out for delivery in my neighborhood with a time frame for delivery, which came and went. By the end of the business day all of a sudden I got a “no information available” update and that I can start a claim on my package. It’s been a week now and the phone is just MIA
