iPhone 16 Pro Max shipment delayed

I ordered my iphone 16 pro max at 5AM PDT on september 13, initially it was supposed to arrive today, friday september 20. On "my orders", it still says that it´s friday september 20, but when I track it in UPS it says it will arrive on monday. Is there any way I can know for sure when it will arrive? Also, the package is currently 5 hours away from my location.

I preordered mine Sept 16, mine has an estimated delivery of 9-16 Oct. My order has just been sitting at processing for a week, it hasn’t even charged my bank account yet.

Then complain to UPS. There’s not one thing anyone here on this user to user only forum can do about this and I do understand the frustration as it’s never fun to be disappointed. But this is a UPS issue. Once handed off to UPS from Apple, it’s up to UPS to deliver the package.

I went into the EE store at 1pm on the release day to get my brand new desert iphone 16 pro max 256gb ordered. When I was there the guy checked five times to see that it was ready for the launch day release and it was ready for launch day release but when the 20th September 2024 came (today) my phone didn’t unfortunately. Apparently because the order didn’t go through until 2pm because the EE system went down, this caused my phone to be delayed because of their system. I had said to the guy on the day of order that is he sure that the system would handle the amount of people pre ordering and he said yes but unfortunately it did not and I had to wait 1hr after launch and now I’m being told that’s the reason why I’m still waiting. I was literally the first person in the store to pre order and I’ve ended up with nothing as of yet. It’s now the same day as the release and I am still waiting for my phone to come. Maybe they gave it to somebody else and won’t own up to their mistake as I received a text saying that my device was in store but unfortunately that wasn’t my device and i was texted somebody else’s order number to my phone. Very strange if you ask me.

I am having the same problem


I am in east London, UK. My phone was marked as out for delivery, and then at 13:09 the tracking update said "there has been a security incident but we will still aim to deliver your parcel today"


the DPD customer service chat was useless - they wouldn't update me, they just kept saying "your item is scheduled for delivery on Monday"


This is what happens when Apple chooses to use a dirt cheap courier service. I've been having iPhones delivered to my home for years, and when they used UPS I never had a single issue.


I would like to complain to Apple but I already know they'll tell me to take it up with DPD

worse for mine, UPS said that the guy attemp delivered, and it was not the case, me and my partner were at home waiting in case of for th package, but nobody tried, so first lie,

then, 1 hour after, it said , deliver in person, someone sign, , and not us, with weird signature, then, it said on my app store app deliverd, but someone just stole my iphone 16 pro.


now there is a case open for me, that taking like 4-5 days, and after that they send maybe a new one, and my money is debit, and stuck for now, with nothing on my side, Apple , with UPS, just stole me 1600 $ just like that with not a good support, only said , wait, and we work only on working day , so for now i just go through a weekend with stress of my 1600 $ stole


for now i don't plan to buy again trhough apple app,

there are in fault by just don't thinking about do it for those kind a big price sell some premium delivered

I don't undersatnd apple in this side.

Exactly the same! I got a new desert gold and a black. Received the gold yesterday, but the black one delayed from Sep 20 to 30, and now it further delayed to Oct 14-21. I called in and asking if somebody messed up my order, but they cannot find anything wrong. My friend who bought it a day later than me still have an ETA of Oct 7. So I am totally confused. Have you figured it out?
