My printer is missing the 'Format for' list after macOS Sequoia update

There's obviously some bugs in the system settings. Sometimes when selecting a printer from the printers list it turns on and off sharing, and sometimes it takes you to another settings list with permissions.

I found if you click in the "empty space" you get completely different settings than if clicking on the text itself to get to that setting.

Definition of "soon"????? It is now November 22 and though I love my M3 Air... I find myself disgruntled when I have to go to my Lenovo (eeeeks) or my iPad Pro when it's necessary to print something. I'm not using an Epson but have Brothers and HPs at home and in my office. None of them work with the Air.

Can anybody help me : after security update Sequoia 15.1 - Canon printer lost connection and not printing / listed in System preferences / but not printing /.I,m not tech guru at all any simple explanation more then velcome

I have a Canon Pixma Pro 200 and I don't see rastertoescpll showing up. I have a smaller hp printer and I can't print to either printer from my macbook pro m1. Anybody find any kind of solution to this besides that? I know it's not my printers as I can print to them from my other devices as well, it just seems like Sequouia bricked my macbook pro and doesn't allow it to print anymore. I can't believe this has been an issue for months and apple hasn't fixed it.

I sure hope so. My M1Mini will not connect to any printer, by any method since installing Sequoia. I even purchased a new printer and connected USB....Cannot communicate at this time..I am uploading pdf's to cloud and printing with laptop or phone.

Come on Apple..get with the problem and send out a fix NOW!

I have tried everything except direct assistance from Apple. I even purchased a new Canon to see if it made a difference...NO!

I can see all my printers (2 Canon and 2 Dymo) available for adding but when I click add printer it looks promising for a few seconds and then: "Unable to communicate with printer at this time"

I am using M1 MacMini wit Sequoia 15.1.1

I am printing from MacBook with all those printers.

What changes do you need to make that you cannot make from the print screen menu?

Were you able to get it fixed mine is doing the same thing.

I have a similar issue. My Canon printer prints one page and then stops. Repeatedly pausing and restarting the printer sometimes works. Previous OS worked perfectly.

I do have exactly same issue with my Epson M1180 printer.

Same issue with "looking for printer" and giving "communication error" on my Mac - seriously impacting my business.
