Why am I not receiving notifications from my Apple Watch Series 10?

Update to my original post:

I did a Restore from a Backup from my Previous Watch followed the prompts and this morning the Notifications for "Your Battery is fully charged" has returned.

Initially when i got my new watch 10 i ran it as a new watch, a mistake on my part.

Just confirming that the "restore watch from backup" mentioned in this thread did the trick for me.

I had a Series 6 and upgraded to an Ultra 2 in September, but added it as a new, 2nd watch to my phone before removing the Series 6. Never can I recall getting the charge notifications on the Ultra 2 (they worked on the Series 6). I've been patiently waiting for a fix, but none has arrived as of writing (but just a few days ago I did contract Apple support which did acknowledge the issue, but could not say when it may be fixed, or even what exactly causes the issue -- just to "check back" periodically if the issue still lingers).

I had been dealing with this issue since September and this WORKED! Restore from my 8 latest backup from then and voila! THANK YOU👏👏👏

Apple is aware of this problem. I spent many hours on the phone with them. The last customer service tech just told me there’s nothing they could do about it. They are aware of it and we will have to wait for an update in the future to fix it.

Let them know about it by using the Feedback link, this is the only way to make them aware of unresolved software issues.

I went from Apple Watch s8 and iPhone 14 Pro to the series 10 and 16 pro. Charging notifications worked just fine with the old watch/iphone and has never worked since I upgraded. I did all the steps you listed and still nothing. Apple support was trying to schedule an appointment at an Apple Store but I’m just gonna wait it out and hope it’s just a bug.

Everybody having similar problems should report this directly to Apple by using the Feedback link.

This is the only way to make them aware of watchOS issues.

Ensure that "Charging Reminders" is enabled in the Watch app under Sleep.

Since Apple does not follow these user to user communities, using the Feedback link is the only way to make them aware of issues. Everybody having these issues should do that:

I’ve been having the issue for months. I actually think mine started on my prior Apple Watch. I upgraded to the 10 a few months ago, went thru all the troubleshooting even sent my watch in for repairs. It’s got to be the software glitch. I’ve updated my iPhone and watch with every update and beta update hoping this issue gets fixed. It’s intermittent as well. I’ll start receiving notifications and then when I need to charge my watch it loses that connection and I have the issue all over again. Other than the charging there is no recreating the issues, it just happens out of nowhere. I hope Apple is reading these! What’s the point of a watch to receive your notifications and you don’t get notified and have to rely looking at your phone all the time. I am kinda regretting upgrading my watch and wasting the money.
