ChatGPT Plus Subscription through ApplePay Issue on IOS 18.0 - "This subscription is associated with another OpenAI account."
Hello, I need help because I've contacted both OpenAI and Apple about this issue.
I have two ChatGPT accounts. Both ChatGPT accounts I have "Sign-in with Google Credentials".
For now I'll just say:
GmailAccountPrimary@gmail.com
GmailAccountSecondary@gmail.com
When I purchased my first ChatGPT Plus subscription, I used my GmailAccountSecondary@gmail.com and made an Apple Pay purchase for 1 month.
That 1 month did pass and the subscription has been done for several weeks.
I wanted to re-purchase, but under GmailAccountPrimary@gmail.com . When I purchased with Apple Pay I was presented with:
> "You're all set. Your purchase was sucesssful"
> Clicked "OK"
> "Error The subscription is associated with another OpenAI account. Please login with that account to access it, or visit help.openai.com for support."
Looking at my account that I was still logged into when making the purchase ( GmailAccountPrimary@gmail.com ) and it still says I am using a "Free Plan"
Logged-out and into my GmailAccountSecondary@gmail.com, and noticed it has ChatGPT Plus.
I reached out to OpenAI Support team first, they said it's "Apples Issue"
I've live chat and even got a call from Subscriptions & Bill and even Apple Pay team, they told me it's a OpenAI/ChatGPT side issue.
What's going on? I just want to have my Apple Pay subscription under my Primary openAI account instead of my secondary account.
