I have the iPhone 16 promax. I’ve tried reconnecting Bluetooth, different cords, tried in different cars and still my CarPlay isnt working. My screen time isn’t restricting it. My CarPlay is on through settings. What do I do now? I’m getting frustrated and upset I upgraded.

If you had a phone previously connected to your car, try the following:
I had an iPhone 12pro which I upgraded to ios18... no issues with Carplay.
I upgraded to iPhone 16pro and now Carplay doesn't work. I've tried "forget this car" but now I can't even reconnect. It says "Device No Response". I've tried different cables - same thing.
i have a 2023 Lexus is my car play worked fine but will not work with my 16 pro. I have deleted. And added back 3 times. Every thing works except Apple play which I use for navigation. It tries to connect for a flash but won’t stay. I am so disappointed in the 16. I have never owned anything but Apple products.
Nope not a car issue was at the dealership and it didn’t happen h til the update happened
I agree nothing wrong until I did the update and I’ve been to the dealership I believe it’s an Apple thing
If it was purely an Apple thing, it would be happening to everyone, but it's not.
What parts of the suggestions I made in a post above did you try, which didn't work.
I will have to try that, but I got a USB to C cable, and that did not work on our 2018 Pacifica Touring L.
