I have an iPhone 13 Pro. I’m running 17.7. Are there issues with iOS 18 that might delay updating? Should I wait until a patch comes out or is it safe now? My biggest concern is the handset hearing up and battery drain.

Did not work. VPN deleted, phone completely rebooted, absolutely no difference.
Why does someone from Apple Support not chime in to offer support and recommendations? Clearly there are a large number of Apple users seeking solutions.

As noted, this is a user-to-user forum. Apple's participation is largely limited to making sure we all obey the rules. The only time anyone from Apple posts is if it's a health/safety issue and then only to provide the appropriate contact information.

I am in 18.0.1 ****. I have a variety of issues. Cannot send pictures through text, the alerts on my earphones are so loud. I’m playing music and I get a text message. It is like at 10 times the volume of the music. Things just are not stable in a variety of the apps.
Plugged in my Apple Charger, as per usual, and this kept coming up:

Scheduled to finish charging by 2:30 am.
It was 12:30 in the morning last night.

von ~ No, you don't need to do all that. Just create a simple custom shortcut in Apple's Shortcuts app to directly open Safari's 'Clear History' pane:

I have a iPhone 14 running 17.7 , I had issue's last year with IOS 17.2.1. my difficulty was connecting to cellular network, which drove me crazy, better off waiting until the problem is fixed.
I upgraded and it seems okay, but I can no longer reply to emails using outlook via a web browser, neither chrome nor safari.
17.7 had a bugs too, but outlook worked.
Airdrop no longer works after IOS 18. I can’t find a fix that works anywhere.
I have the same issue with my CarPlay in a VW since the update to iOS 18.. also noticed battery draining much faster.
Clock Widget blinking , In standby mode calendar not showing , Sticky Moves , Seems Glitches .
After iOS18.0.1 looks better
I updated yesterday, and now I have no internet access. I've never had an update problem. 15 pro max. Phone is unusable now.
Completely trashed my Music app. Lucky to have backed up but putting all back together isn't what I would call well-written software.
Yes. Disappointing! I have audio but no video. So now I can’t watch Netflix on tv via hdmi
