I have an iPhone 13 Pro. I’m running 17.7. Are there issues with iOS 18 that might delay updating? Should I wait until a patch comes out or is it safe now? My biggest concern is the handset hearing up and battery drain.

Just got an answer about creating a shortcut to delete cookies & history data from my iPhone instead of scrolling down to apps and scrolling down again. I’m not tech savvy as some but I cannot do this. Both me and my husband are of the mind if it ain’t broke don’t fix it and we were happy with our phones before this update !

In my phone when i play a song and lock the screen the music is also stop playing and start. All the time the screen on and off the music is also stop. Also sometimes the volume suddenly gets soo loud. Soo annoying. How to fix this issues..
Since updating my IPhone 14 to IOS18 I now struggle to delete my emails.
I now have to switch off my phone and then switch back on again to fix issue but this only lasts for a short time.
My phone was working perfectly well before this update.
This is the first time that I have had any issues with an update so hopefully it can be quickly resolved.
100% agree with you. I have had many issue including with Apple Music App. Complete unacceptable!!!!

I upgraded and it seems okay, but I can no longer reply to emails using outlook via a web browser, neither chrome nor safari.
17.7 had a bugs too, but outlook worked.

Airdrop no longer works after IOS 18. I can’t find a fix that works anywhere.
a lot of brand new iPhone 16's are already on iOS 18 have software issue's right out the box....reading is fundamental.

All iPhone 16s shipped with iOS 18.
I have the same issue with my CarPlay in a VW since the update to iOS 18.. also noticed battery draining much faster.

You can only schedule texts to be sent later if you're messaging an iMessage user.
Clock Widget blinking , In standby mode calendar not showing , Sticky Moves , Seems Glitches .

In settings > messages Make Send as SMS ON
Since updating, I can’t watch anything on my phone on TV using a Lightning to HDMI adapter. It worked perfectly before the update.
