Are there any known issues with the iOS 18 Update?

Столкнулась с проблемой на Айфон 13 после автоматической перезагрузки телефона после переноса данных со старого айфона 13 на новый 13 про (на которой уже было заранее установлено ПО 18.01). Телефон завис с экраном на котором горит яблоко и полоска, уже более 7 часов и не реагирует на кнопки для перезагрузки и не включается и не выключает. Что можно сделать?

I am fed up with apple services currently. I dont know what they are doing. I bought my iphone 15, 3 days back , updated with all the updates and my Photos app is glitching a lot. Im opening it its just shutting down on its own. Its so irritating. I have tried restarting my phone a billion times and still its not working!!! Please fix this!!

My 14pro max was rendered unusable with IOS 18 update. Frozen. Just spent over an hour to have new phone shipped to replace what was a perfectly functioning 14pro max. I'm now without a functioning phone. I expected much better from apple.

Issues with emails not being retrieved from server. Apple is well aware of this and sent ios 18.1 to rectify Mail App bugs, but it made the issue worse. Now emails can’t be retrieved or sent, even on wifi. Customer service has no answers. Uninstalling email accounts or the Mail App itself doesn’t not work and causes more problems.

Yes my mail no longer works, my phone battery is depleting at a major fast rate and I’m at Witt’s end with the texting issues . Apple says maybe I’m pushing the screen too hard. Been texting in touch screen devices for 15 years now never had a problem before. Update is garbage!

Problems w/ updating iphone SE2 to iPhone 12. Couldn't get past the 18.0.1 update to the new iPhone 12. This was an Amazon purchase ... guess I'll just keep that $300 in my pocket. Nothing encapsulations our 'knew age' quite like these assistant 'WIZARDS' that fail.

Omg! Nooooooo. Seriously of all the problems in all the forums this would upset me the most. You poor thing. It’s like don’t mess with my streaming Apple….. don’t mess with my streaming *cries and runs into the other room to choose a book.

Yeah, noticed recently that instant message links in the contacts app are no longer updating. I.e. some links are no longer working and some are working just fine. I checked that contacts access with the apps ive been using hasnt been turned off, so i dont know what gives.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro and update to 18.01 and Apple CarPlay and barely works. I went through all the Google recommendations as far as iPhone settings (Allow Siri When Locked) and even reset both the iPhone and the

vehicle (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi). I am IT Administrator and I am pretty savvy at figuring things out but this has me perplexed. I went as far as updating my 2022 Hyundai Tucson firmware to the latest Display Audio Software Update revision, and got Apple Car Play to barley working. Now I get music out of the two front speakers either in monotone or when it decides to play in stereo. Stay away from IOS 18 for now.

I have an iPhone 15 and after iOS 18.00 and 18.01 after the torch application where you can make the beam thinner and more intense it does not work at all. Meaning the gesture right left in the torch does nothing

I am abroad on holiday and although I can get full service over the hotel secure Wi-Fi I cannot get any emails WhatsApp etc over cellular even through my wife ( iPhone SE same as mine but running 17.7) gets full service and her battery lasts twice as long as mine. I am on 18.0.1 - stupid mistake updating to iOS 18.

Apple should provide a return option for major unproven updates

My biggest issue is my subscriptions are messed up and the one they have right, they didn’t take the payment from my Apple balance, they took it from my bank account, which didn’t have the funds, so my $1.99 subscription cost me $31.99.

100% agree with how poor apple support has become

when I reported 3 issues after installing iOS 18 the support person asked me

“What you have you done to try and fix it”

Apples update caused these issues so why ask customers that question ?

Apple support has gone downhill and matches Microsoft outlook support for passing the problem elsewhere

Downloading emails is now far slower and sometimes impossible. So frustrating.

i used to be able to minimise an existing text and then quickly scroll down other recent text exchanges with that recipient to check or say copy something - but now if my new text under construction is say 2/3 of the screen, I can only ever have 1/3 of screen to do that checking back on previous texts. Quite irritating that a problem that didn’t used to exist has been ‘added’ to this latest IOS.
