on iOS 17 and older, I was able to see my bank checking and savings balance on a widget. Now with 18 it's now gone. I've searched on how to get it back with no luck. I cant remember how I privously added it.

I had the same problem as many of you, This was the response I just received from my bank. It’s not a solution but I hope it’s helpful.
From Bank:
I am sorry to hear that the St George Bank Widget disappearing after updating your iPhone to IOS18 has been a poor experience for you.
Customers who have a quick balance widget set up and upgrade to iOS18, no longer have access to their widgets as the widgets are not retained upon upgrade to the new iOS.
Customers who have upgraded to iOS18 and wish to create a widget, do not have the ability to do so.
Unfortunately the quick balance widget is not supported for customers using iOS18 nor is there a workaround to reinstate customers existing balance widgets.
Customers can still access quick balance as an alternative option via the bank mobile banking app.
We acknowledge that this outcome isn't what you were seeking, and I apologise that we aren't able to accommodate your request.
Has anyone found an answer to this? I've lost my NAB quick balance widget after updating to iOS 18 yesterday 😭😭😭
Mine went months ago with iOS 18. I contacted nab on several occasions.
a. They’re no interested, and
b. They blame Apple.
why is it that Apple breaks some thing with every update?
Same with mine. I lost the ING and ANZ widget and didn’t know until I went to look at my account and it was gone it’s so frustrating as I used it almost daily

i want my credit union widget back. Apple can fix this and they have way more resources than my credit union.

So it’s the banks fault? It says the widget is on but I can’t put it on my phone. Then I checked and it says iOS 14.0 or later so I’m still confused

Same for ASB & Wise account widgets which is a branch under Commonwealth AU Bank but my Kiwibank still has their widget. I only recently switched from android to iPhone and this is a let down.
Apple cannot change another company’s software. Software is protected by US copyright laws. The bank is responsible for updating their software to be compliant with the hardware. That’s the way it’s worked since computers were invented.
