iPhone 16 Pro Max camera issue

Was trying to get the shot of the Super moon. This is what I got. Ever since I bought this phone it is acting weird all the time. Camera shutting off randomly which was solved in the 18.0.1 update. Now this. Apple support ran the diagnosis and found no issues then. Wondering if I should call them again for this issue.

Camera does not work after 17.2.1 update A few days after the update of IOS 17.2.1 my camera stopped working. I turned the phone off, gave it a few minutes and then back on. It started working normally, then I got a notification saying “camera - unknown part” After that my camera does not zoom in or out. I contacted Apple, they pretty much said well you’re camera isn’t a genuine Apple product. How is that so? Since I purchased this phone at an Apple Store. I then contacted my carriers local store, they have said several people have contacted them with the same exact issue. I spoke with Apple again, all they suggest is I send the phone off for repair OR replace my phone OR find an authorized retailer to fix this issue that is somehow not covered under warranty and I will have to pay the bill. So I am asking, is anyone else having this issue and what is the fix? If they are, can we all just complain until this is fixed? My opinion this is an Apple issue not a consumer should pay for issue.

Iphone 16 pro camera issues, got a new one and same thing Has anyone been able to find a resolution for this? I worked with Apple tech support for 6ish hours. I just got my replacement Iphone and it worked okay for 12 hours then the camera issue started again. The camera blacks out, subsequently the phone gets hot, apps start going slow, audio goes out on phone calls, and I have to restart it. Then 24 hours later it does the same thing. Does ANYONE have a new phone that is working like it should? Has anyone found a fix for this yet? This is beyond frustrating for a NEW phone.

So, your file size show 12 MP, 3024 X $032, 586kb. Why is your files size so small? I can’t shoot an image using HEIF and the 5X telephoto lens. How are you getting the file size so small?

I don’t know. Probably because it’s zoomed in too much? I have turned on High Efficiency in settings>camera>formats and when I zoom in too much the file size is very small..
