Bluetooth connection problems since Sequoia

After upgrading to Sequoia, I noticed that my Bluetooth keyboard, once connected when the laptop is turned on, disconnects after 30 seconds for a short period of time. At the same time, the Bluetooth connection for my mouse becomes laggy, and I have to turn the mouse off and on again.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, are there any fixes?

If it's not an Apple Magic Keyboard then it is a 3rd party device and you should check with the vendor if they have any updates, etc. For example, Logitech has their dongle and some models also support Bluetooth. Logitech software typically updates the firmware of their devices paired to the dongle. Despite bluetooth not needing the dongle the keyboard itself might need a firmware update to handle power sleep / wake of the keyboard itself. Other keyboard brands may have their own software that may need to be updated.

Apple is very close to releasing macOS 15.1 so keep checking for updates.

As a workaround, most bluetooth keyboards will connect using a USB charging cable (Lightning cable for Apple Magic devices) that defeats it being wireless but at least the keyboard will work reliably until the bluetooth issue is resolved.

Getting horrible audio distortion since the update in my headphones. These headphones worked perfectly before (I was previously on Ventura) and had no problem using bluetooth devices generally. Headphones still work great on other devices (iOS and MacOS Ventura).

Audio works fine for about 1-10 minute and then suddenly it's horribly distorted; sounds like a "bitcrusher" effect was running over all the sound (of course, there's no effect being used). Happens with sound playing from the web browser as well as audio app (Swinsian). I was able to briefly correct it by playing sound through a different app but it comes back after 10 minutes or so.

This is after update to Sequoia 15.5.

I have Sequoia 15.5 - the only way to connect my headphones is to keep them close to the keyboard on a Macbook Air M1. If I move them a feet away it disconnects. I can't seem to connect anything via Bluetooth - you think this might be a hardware issue with the bluetooth module failing? I reset also the module via the Terminal and restarted the laptop with no effect.
