AirPods Pro 2 chirping noise with hearing aid.
I am hearing a chirping noise out of right EarPods with the hearing aid function on. I have restarted and reconnected the EarPods twice. It did not resolve the issue.

That's correct. I found that replacing the silicone ear tips with 3rd party foam tips creates a better seal and eliminates the chirp. There's a discussion of this in How to fix Chirping sounds in AirPod Pro … - Apple Community

I came here looking for solutions — and found one: foam ear tips — but also found a lot of misinformation.
This chirping we’re hearing is actually feedback — something that hearing aids are famous for. The reason it is not a long squeal is because the Apple tech is actually working to cut it to a fraction of a second.
The reason we’re getting it is mentioned in the user documentation: ear tip fit.
For myself, in most instances just adjusting how the AirPod is oriented in my ear would get rid of the problem, but in one ear the chirp would regularly come back. Tried using a different size tip in that ear and it helped but felt weird.
So I came here and found the “foam tips” suggestion. Thanks for that! I now have both symmetry of fit and no more chirps.
Apple support could not solve the issue of chirping on Air Pods2 after 4-5 calls and literally weeks waiting for call back after engineers looked into the issue; nada. I followed the advice of someone on line to get a different set of tips from Amazon-problem solved. Fit was the issue, for me, and the silicone tips OE weren’t secure enough to make the hearing aid function work properly.
Please don’t judge…I bought more than 4 Air Pods pro 2, gifts and to see if chirping was unique to a particular pair; all the same.
I reported here my replacement ear tips eliminated the chirping! Returned some, gifted some…The hearing aid part worked well when the issue was resolved…(Apple was NOT helpful with solving the issue but politely said they don’t know how to resolve.)
Update; the chirping on multiple AirPods I’ve had…
On the recommendation of someone on this thread, I bought a set of Comply tips on Amazon that solved this issue. Hope it will last . My issue was only noticeable on testing the hearing air option.
We read that changing the ear tips from the silicone ones Apple supplies to foam ones takes care of the chirping. I ordered Comply Foam Ear Tips for Apple AirPods Pro 2. They came today, and once I put them on the AirPods Pro 2 the chirping stopped. All evening and not a single chirp.
I was experiencing frequent chirping, unresponsive to various manipulations. Per the suggestion of one of the discussion participants, I bought Complyfoam ear pieces to replace the Apple originals and the chirping immediately disappeared. They also stayed in place better than the originals. You can find them on Amazon.
Under noise control I set it to Adaptive, this got rid of the chirping on my pods in hearing aid mode. Turn Transparency off.
I did purchase the foam earpieces that others were talking about and it did fix the chirping. However not right I need to buy something else to make the aid work !
Try setting it of”adaptive” . That eliminated the chirping for me
Change the AirPods to adaptive mode. Chirping stops.
If you turn Transparency off, you are no longer in hearing aid mode.

Incurio ~ Yes, perhaps Apple will if you tell them about it at the link below. (We're all just users in these user-to-user communities.)

Same very frustrating issue here. It started with the first pair of AirPods Pro 2 that I bought and set up for hearing aid use. Did the firmware update as instructed. When I started using them, there was a single chirp sound every 10 - 20 seconds that alternated left and right sides. Even though the Fit Test said the fit of the supplied eartips was OK, I tried foam eartips. They did not help (not that one should have to use different eartips to address a bug). Tried all the changes to Settings I could think of that would seem to be possible sources of the glitch, including turning off Find My and testing settings specific to the AirPods. I then returned that set and bought another. Set up the second set and had the same chirping issue, so I made an appointment and met with an Apple Genius. He tested those earbuds in some kind of device and said that they passed the sound test, but that he could hear the chirps without even having the buds in his ears. Because they passed the sound test, he had to report the bug as a battery issue. He gave me a new set of earbuds and told me to have my phone forget the old pair, then pair the new earbuds, update firmware, and see if the problem was fixed. It was not. Guess I'm going to be returning the second pair along with another pair I bought as a gift. Seems to be a common issue. Note: I bought them at Costco, which I am assuming would not make a difference.
This didn't work for me. And just for the record I have a pair of Jabra Enhance 200 hearing aids that do not feedback. This is pretty crazy that Apple can't get a handle on this but they seem to be turning a deaf ear to those of us who were looking forward to this extra feature. One thing I did do that helped some was to change from transparency to adaptive but when you do that they are not near as clear. Still work to be done Apple.
