AirPods Pro 2 chirping noise with hearing aid.
I am hearing a chirping noise out of right EarPods with the hearing aid function on. I have restarted and reconnected the EarPods twice. It did not resolve the issue.

I came here looking for solutions — and found one: foam ear tips — but also found a lot of misinformation.
This chirping we’re hearing is actually feedback — something that hearing aids are famous for. The reason it is not a long squeal is because the Apple tech is actually working to cut it to a fraction of a second.
The reason we’re getting it is mentioned in the user documentation: ear tip fit.
For myself, in most instances just adjusting how the AirPod is oriented in my ear would get rid of the problem, but in one ear the chirp would regularly come back. Tried using a different size tip in that ear and it helped but felt weird.
So I came here and found the “foam tips” suggestion. Thanks for that! I now have both symmetry of fit and no more chirps.

We read that changing the ear tips from the silicone ones Apple supplies to foam ones takes care of the chirping. I ordered Comply Foam Ear Tips for Apple AirPods Pro 2. They came today, and once I put them on the AirPods Pro 2 the chirping stopped. All evening and not a single chirp.
Under noise control I set it to Adaptive, this got rid of the chirping on my pods in hearing aid mode. Turn Transparency off.
Add me to the list of people who are experiencing intermittent chirping sounds from L ear AirPod Pro 2 while in hearing aid mode. It took multiple attempts to initially complete the hearing test (eventually successful) and now I’m dealing with this annoying chirping sound, although when all is going well I’m happy with the hearing aid feature. I have never had so much trouble with a product from Apple before. I’m considering exchanging them but it looks like I’d likely have the same issue with a new pair.
I’m in same boat. Only my left AirPod. And it’s for sure the fit. Bc I can’t ever get the test to proceed without pushing the left AirPod in so the fit passes. I’ve had a lot of surgeries on this left ear which is why these types of ear phones have never worked well for me. But I’m mostly deaf out of the left ear so the hearing aid feature is awesome. Unfortunately, it’s not awesome enough to deal with the random chirping. And one other thing. It’s only in transparency. I’ve got not chirping when I’m in noise cancellation.
That's correct. I found that replacing the silicone ear tips with 3rd party foam tips creates a better seal and eliminates the chirp. There's a discussion of this in How to fix Chirping sounds in AirPod Pro … - Apple Community
Apple support could not solve the issue of chirping on Air Pods2 after 4-5 calls and literally weeks waiting for call back after engineers looked into the issue; nada. I followed the advice of someone on line to get a different set of tips from Amazon-problem solved. Fit was the issue, for me, and the silicone tips OE weren’t secure enough to make the hearing aid function work properly.
Update: Just to test whether Costco had an inferior batch, I bought another pair at the Apple Store and tried them out. Same chirping issue.
Same very frustrating issue here. It started with the first pair of AirPods Pro 2 that I bought and set up for hearing aid use. Did the firmware update as instructed. When I started using them, there was a single chirp sound every 10 - 20 seconds that alternated left and right sides. Even though the Fit Test said the fit of the supplied eartips was OK, I tried foam eartips. They did not help (not that one should have to use different eartips to address a bug). Tried all the changes to Settings I could think of that would seem to be possible sources of the glitch, including turning off Find My and testing settings specific to the AirPods. I then returned that set and bought another. Set up the second set and had the same chirping issue, so I made an appointment and met with an Apple Genius. He tested those earbuds in some kind of device and said that they passed the sound test, but that he could hear the chirps without even having the buds in his ears. Because they passed the sound test, he had to report the bug as a battery issue. He gave me a new set of earbuds and told me to have my phone forget the old pair, then pair the new earbuds, update firmware, and see if the problem was fixed. It was not. Guess I'm going to be returning the second pair along with another pair I bought as a gift. Seems to be a common issue. Note: I bought them at Costco, which I am assuming would not make a difference.
I was experiencing frequent chirping, unresponsive to various manipulations. Per the suggestion of one of the discussion participants, I bought Complyfoam ear pieces to replace the Apple originals and the chirping immediately disappeared. They also stayed in place better than the originals. You can find them on Amazon.

Incurio ~ Yes, perhaps Apple will if you tell them about it at the link below. (We're all just users in these user-to-user communities.)

The hearing aid feature works great but the chirping noise is terrible.
Thanks for the link, Alancito. Yes, we should all report the problem. Provide as much information as you can, certainly including the firmware version the AirPods are on and the approximate frequency. For instance, mine are on version 7B19, and the frequency is 1 to 20 seconds, with no correlation between R and L. I do hope they sort this out, the feature works well except for this chirp.
I. have the same issue, have the correct firmware, correct everything and keeps chirping at various times. I do not think my AirPods are defective, everything else works fine EXCEPT the hearing aid feature.
Just an update regarding my iPods Pro 2 chirping noise: IT STOPPED CHIRPING. I don't know what may have remedied the problem but it has been resolved. The hearing aid feature now works flawlessly with NO CHIRPING.
I love this feature!
