Horizontal black line in photos app after updating 18.1

Bug is still present in 18.2 RC2

Issue also affects 18.2 public release.

Well I have the same model and was same problem but after iOS 18.2 update the line has become more thinner and kind of transparent which is only visible on close look.

The bug is still present in iOS 18.2

Is the issue still present after 18.3?

Yes i’ve also updated to 18.1 and i am also facing this same black horizontal line issue..And interestingly in photos app only.

Apple you should solve this issue immediately i’m not ready to spend money on this thing instead already i’ve spent a lot of money for buying this brand new iphone 13 pro…

Hello same problem I am facing in my 12 pro max. The photos app is displaying black horizontal line even when I scroll my photos inside the app. It stays for some moments and disappears. I have restarted using volume up down and power button method but no change. Even I have erased and reinstalled to factory settings but things don’t change. Pls fix this issue and also after updating to 18.1 the sound from the speakers have decreased and battery drain issues have been more.

Apple pls fix this bug specially for the customers who are not a part of your AI and are still happy with your older models.

Expecting a definite fix of these issues.

i have updated my iPhone 13 pro max to the latest update 18.1 and I see a vertical line that is randomly appearing with the photos app only it sometimes appears very visible and sometimes disappears gradually, it does not appear before on older IOS

I am also facing the same issue with black horizontal line which only appears in photos app , expecting that this solves after the new software update, this has been scary what if it turns whole screen to black lines, expecting the fix of the bug as soon as possible.

I’m also having same issue where thin black line is appearing on my iPhone 14 Pro Max screen but it’s coming for all not only in photo app. It’s disappeared once then again showing now. @apple support please do something for this bug, it’s really annoying.

After updating my 13 pro max to iOS 18.1, I always see thin (sometimes thick) black horizontal line in photos app which disappears after few minutes of use. Even after updating to the latest version like 18.1.1 or 2 the problem is not fixed.

After updating my iPhone 13 Pro Max to iOS 18.1, I noticed an issue in the Photos app. When I open an image, a thin black horizontal line appears intermittently. It disappears after a moment but reappears inconsistently. This issue is limited to the Photos app ,everything else works fine when I exit the app.

Yes!! I just bought this iphone off of EBay (IPhone 14) and thought it was because it was a refurbished product and was ready to send it back or something. It’s not a big deal but still bothers me. 😩 Hopefully it gets fixed soon! (It’s the line that looks like a pencil going through the words whole milk and continues clear across the screen.) it always disappears but comes back at the same place.

edit: I’m not sure how to turn the photo to see it better. 😭

iPhone 13Pro, при просмотре фото в галерее появляется черная горизонтальная линия, она не постоянная. При повороте экрана из вертикального в горизонтальное, полоса так же переворачивается. Устраните пожалуйста данную проблему!
