iphone 16 pro

so my iPhone 16 Pro is the model with no SIM card. It’s all eSIM. I looked at videos online and there is a little bit of dead space in the phone which is kind of dumb, but it brings up a question. How do I find out if my phone has water damage if I can’t use the SIM tray to look for water damage?

The phone will tell you if it has detected liquid damage. See this --> If you see a liquid-detection alert on your iPhone - Apple Support

Why would you think that your phone has water damage if it has not been in the water?

Or, are you saying that you think that you phone might have water damage? What is the phone doing or not doing?

If yes, make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop. You can find a list of authorized shops in your area using this link:

Don't try to open the phone yourself. If Apple detects that this has occurred, they will refuse to even look at the phone. If water damage is detected, Apple will not repair the phone. It will need to be replaced.
