I’m pretty sure it’s the True Depth camera IR filter that has moved out of position. Because the IR blocking filter is missing/misaligned, your camera is now recording IR light, which was previously blocked. I can’t be 100% sure, but I’m a former Apple Store Manager and have seen this issue before. Please make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store and let them check it out.

Have you tried doing a forced restart? If not, please do so. I’ve shared a link to an Apple Support article that provides steps by steps instructions if you’re not familiar with the process. A forced restart is much more than just turning your iPhone off and on. Follow the instructions and then please report back your status and include a screenshot please.

Are you images pink/magenta like the original poster shared? If so, it’s not a software issue. The physical Infrared filter has slipped out of position and needs repair or replacement. Contact Apple Support to have it serviced.

Contact Apple support directly for your country. They should be able to run remote diagnostics, and then advise you of the next step.
If you have the pink/magenta screen it’s the physical IR filter and the camera module probably needs replacing.
If you have a Face ID issue, that’s the TrueDepth camera and you may need to have it replaced if Apple diagnostics confirms the issue.
Contact Apple Support to get the is remotely diagnosed.

Any other troubleshooting steps that you’ve performed, so I don’t waste our time? Do all the lenses show the same anomaly?
I visited Apple Support. Technicians diagnosed the phone and sent the report to the Apple.
Apple Customer Care was like this can’t be happening due to the software update.
My phone has neither fallen nor got impacted by other means and was working perfectly fine until the upgrade.
looks like software was not compatible with the hardware and they are asking for charges to replace the hardware now :(
This is a Front camera issue for taking photos. Face ID uses the LIDAR camera. Two entirely different things.
The camera module is broken mechanically, not software. Camera and associated components are not inexpensive and neither is labor.
Just restarting of phone I tried.
only front camera is not working properly. Face Id and back camera lens are working fine.
Also, I kept checking if there is any fix given by Apple but couldn’t find any.

My concern is how is it possible just after the iOS update.
I visited the Apple Support, they are saying the same thing about True Depth IR issue and asking for charges for the replacement.
Concern is why customer has to pay a huge amount if this got impacted by the iOS update.
I’m taking care of my phone like anything. It never fallen in 4 years and this is what we are getting.
You’d need to explain how a software up moves a physical filter. It’s not a software filter. The filter is a piece of glass or optical polymer that is in front of the sensor. How does software move a filter?
Unrelated issue. Please read the entire thread you shared. Not one single image posted. Why? You can’t share a lidar image which is what’s used for Face ID.
The OP is referring to his front facing camera, not Face ID (Lidar). Please don’t post irrelevant information and confuse the OP and community members that may read this thread in the future.
Ok, I have a filter in front of my sensor on my Canon R3. In front of the sensor is an IR filter. It’s a piece of glass that blocks IR light. I’ve updated the firmware several times. How does software move a piece of glass about 36mm x 24mm? You haven’t explained that. It there is no cause and effect, not matter how hard you wish it.
