Can I Lock Browsing History on Apple News?

I know with the screen time setting you can have content and privacy restrictions on which makes it so safaris browsing history cannot be deleted. Is there a way to do the same thing in Apple News? Some sort of parental control or setting so the browsing history cannot be deleted within the app without a passcode?
