hi so i had a problem where my iphone 14 had frozen up and i had to do some kind of thing with the volume buttons and the power buttons but my screen was brighter before and now its alot darker after

Open the Control Center by swiping down from the battery icon, scroll to the top, and you will see the brightness control.
You can also go to Settings/Display & Brightness and adjust the brightness there.
And you can go to Settings/Accessibility/Display & Text Size and turn Auto-Brightness on or off. When on it will adjust the brightness based on ambient light.
